"Awkward" box, 2000s.

Artist's box containing 14 drawers, each with its own label and containing its own materials, such as cloth, Astroturf, batteries, part of a computer keyboard, animal fur, plaster of Paris, or the like. Drawers are titled: Conversation, Editorial, Big gum, Ithaca Gun Factory: an epilogue, Artificial campus, Environs, SAFC funding patterns, Pecuniary, Stuck in Ithaca, Moving the crowd, Cafe analysis, Campus, Phantoms, Convections, Death of an interface, Technology, My locks, The juicy reversible fur lined hoodie: implications for the Cornell community, Fashion, Ugly, and Sex. Some drawers contain text. One side of the outer box reads "Awkward" in cutout letters; the other side reads "Tactile" in raised letters.
